LOCATION AND GEOGRAPHY

The valley of the Rió Foyel is born in a privileged natural setting, the product of a long and staggered thaw that comes from the snowy Cordón Largo. It is regulated by the high bays that are found in open areas on the edge of the vegetation of the native Lengas forests, at 1700 m above sea level. In its long journey the flow increases, being nourished by innumerable streams in the surrounding valleys and hills, thus becoming one of the main rivers in this region.

ACTIVITIES

The valley, being located right in a transition area between the mountain range and the pre-mountain range and with a well-defined four-season climate, makes it possible to appreciate the diversity of the landscape while enjoying the four seasons. No matter what time of year you visit Alto Foyel, there are always amazing activities to discover.
